Overview To supplement the in-game system that tracks individual activity through Conquest points, we wish to offer a system that tracks activities that are in-line with our guild goals that aren't tracked by the game itself with a similar point system. This includes but is not limited to things like Hosting Events, Recruitment, RP, and reliably Attending Events. Squad Leaders will aid their squads in tracking these points, which will show up for their respective squads on their web page. Much like the Conquest system, additional bragging rights and medals will be awarded for top performers. Earning Points The following activities earn the designated amount of points, and we wish to grow and expand this list as it meets the needs of the guild:
Creating an Event on Guilded: 20 points
Signing up for an Event: 5 points
Attending an Event: 10 points
Being referred on an Application: 10 points
Attending the Guild Meeting Remotely: 5 points
Attending the Guild Meeting on the Ship: 10 points
A Cadet being promoted to Private will earn 10 points for themselves and their listed recruiter
Signing up through Guilded will be required for your points to count. The Event Host will record on the Event who all was in attendance at the Event's conclusion to ensure all attendees are properly credited. We will also create a Discord channel for screenshot submissions of attendees. The Guild Meeting points will be awarded as a last-minute chance to push your squad to the top of the leader-boards by encouraging attendance. There will be no way of losing points. Scoring The points will be tracked via a spreadsheet hosted on our website here: https://www.imperialarmy.org/commendationsroster High Command will be responsible for editing: Platoon Leader, Company XO, General. Platoon Leaders are to remind their squads to submit roster verifications/updates ASAP. When a member of High Command edits the spreadsheet, they are to inform the Officer Chat. Once the Guild Meeting starts on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM CST, scoring for the previous week will be closed and the rankings announced after the Conquest Briefing. Squads will be ranked by points earned in the week, not their Season Total. Every 4 weeks, the top squad will be entered into a raffle for its members to win a Cartel Pack. Currently, the totals for a week won't be known until that Tuesday. The spreadsheet will maintain a running total updated every week until the end of the Squad Season where the top earners will be further rewarded. The scores would be reported roughly as so: "In xth Place, X Squad earned 30 Commendations this week, bringing their total to 90 for the Season." Modification As this is an experimental system, consult with your Squad Leaders or members of High Command on ways to improve the system or what other categories could be introduced for scoring. The philosophy of the SCS is to track and reward non-conquest data so that the two systems work together, not replace.
